Xbox has moved a step ahead and has become a gaming console that will help you socialize. Yes, its true ! Now its easier to stay connected with your friends on Facebook and twitter with the new XBOX Live. PC World, does quote it that Microsoft is pretty much successful in making a pleasantly designed interface.
The XBOX 360 system update requires an additional Facebook component to be downloaded separately. Once you are done installing this less than 10 MB file,you are vis-a-vis the Facebook dashboard. It provides with a quick status update(almost every 5 seconds). A good idea to share your gaming experiences with your friends.With XBOX, a very good and easy to use feature is the viewing of photos/albums of your Facebook friends.
Facebook and Twitter on Xbox
Unlike Facebook, Twitter comes pre-installed. A very simple screen interface gives the last four updates of your friends. Everything from topics search to following new accounts, reply, retweet etc is pretty easy.Once again, the overall presentation and interface is something for which Microsoft deserves applauds.
