Trying to Rejuvenate The Blog

If you look at the last post date you’d be surprised to note that it was posted in October. Yes, it was 29th and that makes it a few days ago, but for a blog that boasts of providing you “the latest” (bothered to check the title?), a gap of so many days is not at all accepted. Even I realized it but couldn’t help myself. After having posted a few good posts (my readers told me so), I still couldn’t figure out why I was not enjoying it? Why is it that I was running out of things to write? I was getting a good feedback though. Himanshu found it interesting, Nethra liked the way I write, Pratik and Tarun were inspired by the tips and some guy very smartly left lots of comments about different posts with links to his blog. If someone thinks that giving a link here, would be able to promotes his blog, then I would say that I have been able to build a name, however small it might be. Thanks a lot to all our readers.

Then what is the reason for me having developed the writer’s block?(I am a blog WRITER, ain’t I?) I guess, it simply is because I failed in living up to my own words. I had decided that I would be posting my opinions and thoughts about the happenings around me and would interact with the readers to know their perspective as well. The name thoughtlog was actually chosen because of the same reason. But, sorry to say this, that I failed miserably. I was probably too preoccupied in relishing the response of the readers. I was beguiled at the stats given by the counters that showed the hits by the people. I didn’t realize my folly that I was sinking slowly in the quagmire of “you-are-popular-by-your-hits”. I delved into Search Engine Optimisation and totally neglected Thought Optimization.  Slowly, I turned it into just another blog with a dash of information that you can easily find using Google.

By now, you must have realised that I am totally disappointed at the work that I have done with the blog so far. But, I am not gonna give up and try to start afresh. I want to rejuvenate ThoughtLog and pour my own thoughts. Once again I would say, your thoughts are most welcome.

Finally, at the end, I would want to mention about one person particularly. I didn’t mention Abhishek Nagar before, because I wanted to dedicate one special paragraph to him. I am really thankful for his honest comments and valuable feedback. In a way he is a Lifebuoy. Thanks Abhishek ! And there were lots of others whose names I was not able to include here and I am equally thankful to them I hope that you will be visiting the log of my thoughts more often.
